Goal of the job:


Assist the Manager – Forensic Services Management in managing investigations and enquiries into fraudulent (financial and operational) activities.
Plan, organize and conduct investigations dealing with complex matters involving Financial Fraud and other practices involving the violation of acceptable professional standards and acts.
Review and analyze books and records, and other financial reporting deficiencies
Report scenarios of potential fraud losses based on identified weaknesses on internal controls
Provide weekly reports of fraud and investigation activities to the Manager – Forensic Services Management
Assist in planning and prioritizing fraud cases and activities

Role Description:

1. Timely completion of investigation assignments
2. Undertake investigation according to professionally acceptable
standards (CFE)
3. Provide adequate weekly investigation status reports.
4. Provide monthly follow-up status reports on outstanding
recommendations

Requirements for suitable candidates:

1 Qualification:

University Degree in Accounting or any of the other social or numerate sciences
Possession of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) qualification will be an added advantage

2 Experience:
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
